Social Cricket in north London
The Winchmore Hill Tigers play social cricket in leafy north London at the prestigious Paulin Ground. We are the Sunday Social team for Winchmore Hill Cricket Club, offering a game to cricketers looking to enjoy social cricket on a Sunday afternoon. We play the game for the game’s sake, enjoying friendly rivalry and great company.
The Winchmore Hill Tigers came into being in 2019 when the Judd Street Tigers joined with their long-term friends and landlords at Winchmore Hill CC. The Judd Street Tigers was formed in 2012 by the merger of WestX1 CC and the Walthamstow Horizontals CC, both long time fixtures on the London social cricket scene.
Inevitably over the years we’ve become much closer to our host club, and in 2016 season became affiliate members of Winchmore Hill CC before joining the club proper in 2019.
We play virtually every Sunday between late April and late September, as well as an overseas tour and the occasional long weekend around the UK (fixture list to be posted shortly). We’re always on the lookout for new players of any standard, so do get in touch via the Winchmore Hill site if you want to put the smile back into your Sunday.
Here’s where you can find us. Trains from central London take 28 minutes, and we’re a short hop on the 329 bus from Wood Green. The map links provide more detail.
