JUDD STREET TIGERS 163-5 BEAT POTTER STREET 162 ALL OUT BY 5 WICKETS

The Tigers kicked off the season with an impressive win over a strong Potter Street outfit at a grey, chilly Winchmore Hill, winning by five wickets with almost ten overs to spare thanks to an unbroken sixth-wicket partnership of 80 in 13 overs from the Chrises Wright (49*) and Boden (34*). Judd Street Tigers were  defeated by Potter Street from Harlow as the curtain came down on cricket at Winchmore Hill for another summer. Nevertheless, a good effort in difficult circumstances. It was a bizarre weekend for cricket buffs: Tino Best hit a world record 95 for a No.11 batsman in Test Cricket; Eoin Morgan clobbered a 49-ball century for Middlesex against Lancashire, and village side Barrington CC were bowled out for 6 in a Somerset League match after a steady start of 3 for no wicket!
